Neko

I was very excited to read this, having read and loved Convenience Store Woman from her, but unfortunately I was disappointed. She has a very distinct and specific writing style, which fit the previous novel much more. This book contained much darker topics, while stil being about the same message. I know it's parodic, but I don't feel like it hit the spot: it felt silly. I didn't like how obviously things were said, outright written out, especially when I was reading the child prespective part at the beginning. After I got over it, it was much more bearable, but the issue didn't completely leave. Overall it wasn't bad, I just like to nitpick.
